The Format: The readings take place as conversations during which we take a look at the direction your life is taking and discuss what is important to you at the time. I first listen and accompany you in formulating clear questions for the cards before we proceed to the draw and interpret the imagery answering your query. Time permitting, we may explore different topics.
What You Can Ask: The subjects of inquiry are of your choosing… relationships, work, projects, finances and resources, self-development, personality traits, comparing choices and scenarios, spirituality, wellness, life transitions, etc.
If You Don’t Have a Question: If you are not sure what to ask, we can begin with a general reading or use one of my signature spreads that cater to a variety of topics.
My Experience: I have been enthusiastically studying, practicing and refining the art of card reading since 2014. Along with a significant knowledge of traditional Tarot symbolism, I use intuition to interpret the images as they pertain to you and your situation to contribute guidance, empowerment and inspiration to your life. How Does It Work: My impression is that Tarot reflects the energy that we are projecting. It is a visual bridge between our inner selves and the outer world. It reveals synchronicity at play! Tarot speaks symbolically (sometimes literally too!) and a reading is akin to decoding a dream—it is rich in personal meanings. Contemplating the cards is like looking in a mirror that shows us what we are doing with our lives and gives voice to our genuine selves.
Tarot makes the invisible visible, it is a ritual of clarity.
About the Future: Please note that I am not in the business of making outright predictions. I deem that everyone is creating his or her future, moment by moment, choice by choice. With the Tarot, we can take a look at your current direction—at what you are in the midst of creating–but what is foreseen isn’t definitive as there is always the possibility of making different choices going forward. Recognizing and honouring this principle is empowering.
“If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.”

Bonjour! I’m JF and I’ve always been passionate about understanding human nature and reality. I love to explore the connections between the inner and outer worlds of people—for which Tarot is a brilliant tool!
My Influences: Along with Buddhism and the hermetic wisdom encoded within the Tarot itself, my main inspirations on my path of awareness are the fascinating works of Jane Roberts and Mary Ennis which discuss the creative powers of consciousness. Over the years, a variety of spiritual experiences and a growing recognition of energy have also informed my understanding of human potential.
Studies & Travels: After completing my B.A. in Communications and Religious Studies in Montréal, I traveled to Egypt and lived in India for three formative years where I immersed myself within exiled Tibetan culture at the foothills of the Himalayas. My travels have gifted me with inspiring examples of diversity and generosity in humans beings.
What Else I Do: My most important personal practice, along with reading cards and energy, consist of regular Buddhist-style meditation. I have found great benefit in cultivating that receptive, open, and accepting state of mind that it instills. I am also invested in natural healing modalities, design websites, love swimming and yes you can call me a plant daddy :)
In my overall approach to life, I have come to especially value the qualities of openness, kindness, simplicity and humour—which tend to create a blend of gentleness and wit in how I express myself and how I relate to others.
Born and raised in rural New-Brunswick, Canada, I’ve lived in Montréal for over 20 years before moving to Vancouver in 2021.
